Eco Appetito 2009 photos

 


The 2009 Eco Appetito brought together a great crowd who enjoyed local fresh food and beverages.

 


The FBES staff performed a skit “The Wizard of AG (Agriculture)” as a sample of the inventive methods the Ecology School uses for making learning fun.

Sarah Goodhue of Cinque Terre and Leslie Oster of Aurora Provisions kept the dining room hopping with food and drink.


FBES Board president Ken Barber and his wife Amy caught up with a friend at the event.

 

Ralph and Lisa Turner of Laughing Stock Farm donated fresh vegetables for the menu.

 

 


FBES's own John Ibsen (Food For Thought Coordinator & Assistant to the Program Director) and new staff Naturalist Nicole Rhodes passed the delicious Cinque Terre creations,

 


Karen & Tom Diekmann of Yarmouth enjoyed last year's event and came out again to support the Ecology School!

 


Eli Cayer of Maine Mead Works brought his girlfriend Anna (right) and Rebecca Daigle of Swardlick Marketing.

 


Cinque Terre's kitchen wizards Chris (left) and Joel put the finishing touches on the tasty soup shots and ravioli that was served.

 


Thomas (left) and Bryan from Starbucks volunteered their time to serve delicious coffee!
